Buffalo Bills (+11) @ New England Patriots (-11) Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 1 p.m. ET

The AFC East division has been owned by the New England Patriots ever since the beginning of the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era. The combination of the future Hall of Famers has resulted in nothing but success over the years with three Super Bowl titles in five Super Bowl appearances. Although the Patriots appear to be struggling in terms of not being as dominant as in years past, New England is still a force to be reckoned with this season with a 5-3 record heading into the second half of the 2012 season. In Week 10, Brady and company will attempt to stay hot riding a two-game winning streak. This weekend New England will go head-to-head with the division rival Buffalo Bills for the second and final meeting of the regular season. Even though the Bills gave the Patriots a run for their money in the first half of the Week 4 showdown in Buffalo, Brady caught fire in the second half and destroyed the Bills’ secondary leading to a 52-28 rout. With that win in Week 4, the Patriots took sole possession of the lead in the AFC East. Although the Miami Dolphins (4-4) have shown signs of promise this season, the Patriots seem to control their own fate within the division moving forward. After Week 10’s matchup with the Bills, only three more divisional games remain for the Patriots with two matchups against the Dolphins (Week 13, 17) and a final showdown with Rex Ryan’s New York Jets in Week 12. If Brady can lead the Patriots to a third straight win in Week 10, New England will likely only have fend off the up-and-coming Miami squad led by rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the weeks to come in order to secure another division title and trip to the playoffs. Coming into this matchup with the Patriots, the Bills are in desperate need of a win after losing two straight to the Tennessee Titans (35-34) and Houston Texans (21-9). Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is under a lot of pressure heading into this weekend’s matchup with the Patriots as he’s only won four games since signing his lucrative contract extension last season. As of right now, the Patriots are favored heavily to come out on top at home in this AFC East divisional showdown with a -11 point spread. Although that is a large spread, New England might be a solid bet considering the 52-point victory in Week 4.

Prediction: Bills +11
