Dallas Cowboys (-1) @ Philadelphia Eagles (+1) Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 4:25 p.m. ET

As one of the most bitter division rivalries in the NFL today, there’s never any love lost between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles when they go head-to-head during the regular season. Not only is this matchup always a heated one, but this time around there’s so many side plots and potential implications of a lost for both teams. Coming into this Week 10 showdown at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles are riding a four-game losing streak and may be on the verge of some drastic changes in the near future. Head coach Andy Reid is on the hot seat with a second consecutive disappointing result to season on the horizon and starting quarterback Michael Vick is in danger of losing his job under center in favor of Nick Foles. As if all the drama transpiring in Philadelphia wasn’t enough to make this game must-see TV for avid NFL fans, the Cowboys are going through an almost identical situation in Dallas. Quarterback Tony Romo may be headed to the bench with another dismal performance and head coach Jason Garrett may be given his walking papers at season’s end for his inability to turn things around for the storied NFL franchise. Needless to say, one of these storied franchises is in for drastic changes either after a loss in Week 10 or at season’s end if the results stay the same moving forward. It’ll be interesting to see how things ultimately pan out, but as a right now, the divisional showdown in Philadelphia may be make or break for a lot of different people on both sidelines. As usual, both organizations have come out to stand up for their head coaches and quarterbacks. There’s been no indications by the organizations that a change is around the corner, but if the Eagles lose a fifth straight game or the Cowboys don’t turn it around this week, heads will almost certainly roll in Dallas and or Philadelphia. The one positive for the Cowboys with a win in Week 10 is the following week they’ll face off against one of the worst teams in the league in the Cleveland Browns. A winning streak will likely begin with a win over the Eagles making this game even more crucial moving forward. As of right now, the Cowboys hold the slight edge coming into this NFC East showdown with a -1 point spread in their favor. Solid bet in my opinion as the Cowboys appear to be the better all-around squad.

Prediction: Cowboys -1
