Baltimore Ravens (-4) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (+4) Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 8:20 p.m. ET

One of the bitterest rivalries in the NFL will take place in Week 11 with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers going head-to-head in one of two regular season battles that will help dictate the outcome of the highly competitive AFC North division. Unfortunately for the Steelers, Pittsburgh will have to play without two-time Super Bowl champion Ben Roethlisberger. After suffering multiple injuries (shoulder, rib) in the win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, Roethlisberger has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. The loss of Roethlisberger is potentially devastating for the Steelers as there’s no telling how long he’ll be out with the injuries he’s sustained. Big Ben is as tough as they come in the NFL with an uncanny ability to play through injuries, but it appears the most recent injuries seem to be severe enough to keep him out Week 11 and potentially beyond. Although the Steelers have gotten back on the track with four straight wins coming into this matchup against their bitter division rivals, Pittsburgh is headed into one of the most important showdowns of the season as the outcome of this game has playoff implications. With the Ravens currently in first place in the AFC North with a 7-2 record, the Steelers can jump ahead with a win in Week 11. Ironically enough, Roethlisberger’s injury comes at the worst time possible. The Steelers play the Ravens this weekend and two weeks from now in Baltimore. Both games will be crucial to the outcome of the division and the playoff chances both teams. Along with Big Ben sitting out with multiple injuries, Pittsburgh will also be without one of the team’s best receivers in Antonio Brown. The wideout is suffering from an ankle sprain that kept him out Monday’s game against the Chiefs and will keep him out this weekend as well. It remains to be seen the long-term impact of the Steelers’ injury problem. Big Ben will likely bounce back quickly unless his injuries turn out to be more severe that first anticipated. At this point in time, Baltimore has the edge in this divisional showdown in Pittsburgh with a -4 point spread. Although this game will be played at Heinz Field in front of the Steelers faithful, the Ravens will likely come out on top with Big Ben’s absence being too much to overcome for the Steelers.

Prediction: Ravens -4
