Baltimore Ravens (-1) @ San Diego Chargers (+1) Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 4:05 p.m. ET

A few years ago, the San Diego Chargers were considered to be one of the best football teams in the NFL with one of the most talented rosters in the league. Philip Rivers was proving to be an elite quarterback, Antonio Gates was the best of the best at tight end and things began to fire on all cylinders for the up-and-coming Chargers. Although infamously slow starters, San Diego had proven to always get the job done in the second half of the season. Rivers and company always needed a bit of time to get things firing on all cylinders and no one ever counted out the Chargers as a result. Unfortunately, that era of Chargers football may be quickly coming to an end with the San Diego sitting at 4-6 heading into Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens. With Peyton Manning and company hitting their stride in the Mile High City, the Denver Broncos appear to be cruising to an AFC West division title. Manning’s squad has rallied around the four-time NFL MVP and baring any major injury setback should be playoff bound as a result of the division title that seems to be in the bag heading into the holiday weekend. With the Broncos in complete control of their destiny, the season is basically over for the Chargers if they can’t get back to form in the last six games of the season. Unfortunately, the competition doesn’t get any easier this weekend with San Diego playing host to Baltimore at Qualcomm Stadium. Unlike the Chargers, the Ravens seem bound for a division title with an 8-2 record coming into this matchup. The AFC North title isn’t wrapped up just yet with a second meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers right around the corner, but with Pittsburgh breathing down their necks, Baltimore must stay sharper while winning football games moving forward. The Ravens will be coming off another tough battle with the Steelers in Week 11. Baltimore was barely able to get passed Pittsburgh at Heinz Field, but the end result was another win for the Ravens and a step closer to clinching the division title. At this point in time, the Ravens have the slight edge over the Chargers in Week 12 with a -1 point spread. San Diego will put up a fight at home, but I can’t see Baltimore not coming out on top in this one.

Predicition: Ravens -1
