South Strip Las Vegas Football Guide

Navigation: Las Vegas Football > South Strip

The south part of Las Vegas has many great football options to pick from. There is Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York New York and Tropicana that offer a solid betting experience.

Among these, the better experienes can be found at the MGM Grand. With 104 total seats, along with 101 TV’s, it is a great spot to place your bets and enjoy the games. They have a decent amount of seats, but what makes the experience worth it is the overall betting and enjoyment provided.

Other than MGM Grand, the next best experience would be provided by Mandalay Bay. They do have a lot of seats, with 300, which cater to 101 TV’s for all of your viewing needs. Football betting is a great experience at the MGM Grand, while the Luxor and Excalibur don’t offer such a great overall experience. New York New York and Tropicana are great but lack that special aspect that would make them even better.

South Las Vegas Football

Aria is not the right place to visit in Las Vegas if you are looking for the complete football experience. Bettors may have to stand as they watch the games with only 24 seats available; however, they do have 101 TV’s, making it acceptable if you want to stand or watch as you pass by. There are seats open at the bar and restaurant near the book. Service quality will be the same as at any casino. More serious bettors should probably go to different locations.

Excalibur has a nice casino, but when talking about football betting it doesn’t even compare. They have 145 seats, but that may be all they have going for them. Football bets are available to everyone. Few prefer Excalibur when it comes to sports betting.

Luxor has deteriorated over the years, as they have been in business for so long. You may not find their 110 available seats to be as comfortable as others; although you may be able to overlook that detail with their high quality TV’s, which total 132. Football betting is available between 8 am and 10 pm most days, with the exception being Fridays and Saturdays where it’s open until 11 pm.

Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is one of the largest casinos in Las Vegas. The space dedicated to sports and football betting is amazing; with 300 seats open to everyone. They are open every day starting from 7-8 am until 10:30 pm, and 1 am Fridays and Saturdays. This is certainly an advantage when watching Sunday Night Football while placing your bets.

MGM Grand

MGM Grand is another popular casino that offers a small, but amazing football betting experience, when compared to others. Bettors that want to sit back and relax can take their pick from the 104 seats, and watch from their 143 TV’s. They do have some great football odds, which incidentally are some of the best football odds in Las Vegas. The football lines are updated continually. It also operates from 8 am until 10 pm most days, where they open until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo does not seem to use their space well, as other MGM properties do. With only 19 TV’s catering to 150 seats, it may not be the best option when you want to watch the games. This would be more for casual use, rather than for those avid bettors. There is plenty of time to place your bets, as well as watch the games, as it is open from 8 am to 10 pm.

New York New York

New York New York offers a small area with 40 seats to watch the games from. Even though there are few seats and TV’s, the quality is enough to bring in experienced football bettors. The betting kiosks are close by. They do offer comps on sports bets, and bettors may benefit from some of their great special events. They have all types of football wagers and props.

Tropicana is on the small side, but their football betting packs in a lot of quality into the space they have available. They have 62 seats and 45 TV’s. They remain open until 10:30 pm most days and 1 am from Friday to Sunday.
